Swift Swimmers is a family run company, teaching more than 700 swimmers a week. We currently operate across Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire. Our mission is to empower the next generation of swimmers with a life skill in a friendly, fun and safe environment.
Our experience within the leisure industry means that we know what works and we can help your venue practically and operationally. We are passionate about high standards our teachers are trained to the highest standard. Our staff always undertake regular ongoing training to ensure they can deliver a safe programme. Lots of our staff also hold a pool plant qualification.
We can create additional revenue for you, which can help you offset some of your running costs. We are fully insured and are covered across all of our facilities that we deliver across.

Programme Lead - Bedford
We are looking for someone to join our growing and vibrant company and to support in empowering the next generation of swimmers with a life skill in a friendly, fun and safe environment.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for teaching swimming and offering our first class customer experience.
This role is split been administrative tasks and coordinating/teaching at our venues.

Responsibilities:

Receive bookings, enquiries and giving our information and advice where appropriate to all user groups

Co-ordinate the efficient and effective deployment of the team, to meet the business needs

To successfully meet KPI targets

Help to deliver and implement ideas and improvements in our ways of working

To teach and lead by example
-
Oversee the recruitment, evaluation of performance and retention of swim teachers
-
To ensure all swimming lessons have adequate and appropriately skilled cover.

Manage, lead and develop the swim teachers to ensure that they work efficiently and effectively, maximising their swim member retention and providing excellent customer service
-
Communicate regularly with parents of swim members ensuring communications have been received and understood.

Ensure that customer comments are handled promptly and professionally

Undertake training as necessary in line with the development of the post and agreed with your Line Manager

Be flexible with regards to hours of work. Occasionally, training or meetings are organised outside normal working hours. The post holder will be expected to attend whenever reasonably practicable

Plan, deliver and monitor the Swift Swimmers programme

Use your initiative to drive revenue streams and secondary spend for Swift Swimmers

Support with future business strategy maintaining a commercial focus in support of marketing initiatives and plans for new Swift Swimmers programmes

Effectively network with key partners, identifying and building successful links in the local community

Manage all health and safety documentation ensuring day to day legal compliance and best practise is always a priority

Attend regular meetings with the Swift Swimmers senior management team
